The other Stamford shop at 869 High Ridge Road has served the North Stamford territory since 2005. This location, at 2367 Summer Street, will serve the downtown area of the city. Separately, the company will also open in the Ridgeway Shopping Center in Stamford. Gofer Ice Cream has reopened in Cos Cob at 522 East Putnam Ave. The company has also announced plans for an additional shop opening this spring in Stamford. The parlor, which was originally constructed in 2003, was the start of the local ice cream chain. Located at 522 East Putnam Ave, this is the ice cream parlor’s original location. Gofer Ice Cream’s location in Cos Cob reopened on Monday, after a 2019 fire forced the business to close and rebuild, a 16 month process. ![]()
